ILC4 2020 in San Francisco, October 16-18, 2020

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 4th International Conference on Innate Lymphoid Cells (ILC4 2020), which will take place October 16-18, 2020 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, CA, USA. The aim of this international conference series is to provide an interactive platform for the exchange of new concepts, ideas and data between immunologists interested in ILCs and innate lymphocytes in health and disease.

We had the 1st conference (ILC2014) in Paris and the 2nd one (ILC2016) in Berlin and the 3rd one (ILC2018) in Tokyo. Based on the successes of those conferences, it remains clear that ILCs have established themselves as new and significant players in the field of immunology, contributing to tissue homeostasis as well as defense against pathogens and inflammatory diseases. In addition to ILC research, studies on NKT, MAIT, and γδ T cells have also contributed to our understanding of the role of innate lymphocytes in whole-body homeostasis and in the pathophysiology of various diseases.

Abstract submission will open on February 1st for poster presentations from which applicants will be selected by the Organizing Committee for oral presentations. We will compile a scientific program covering basic aspects of innate lymphocyte biology as well as their roles in tissue homeostasis, immune regulation and diseases by combining talks by invited speakers and selected applicants. We will also offer awards for poster presentations to encourage young and early-career researchers.
