10th Annual Meeting of the International Cytokine & Interferon Society (Cytokines 2022): HYBRID MEETING
Cytokines 2020 is now coming to you as a virtual meeting! After careful consideration the ICIS and Seattle 2020 meeting leadership have decided to make Cytokines 2020 an all virtual meeting. This difficult decision is based upon the uncertainty of SARS-CoV-2 exposure outcome from holding an in-person gathering in Seattle.
The pandemic underscores the importance of this meeting and our research to understand cytokine and interferon biology in human health and disease. Our past and current efforts to understand the host response to viruses and other pathogens and the importance of IFN and cytokines in controlling infection and the immune response to vaccines could not be more important than it is now. Therefore we highly encourage you to prepare and collaborate with colleagues for Cytokines 2020 in this virtual setting.
Updates will be available on seattle.cytokinesociety.org, through ICIS social media and email. Extended deadlines for abstract submission, registration, and award applications can be accessed at seattle.cytokinesociety.org/important-dates/
More details will be available by the end of May.
The International Cytokine & Interferon Society and its members have made sustained efforts to understand the host response to pathogens. The interferons and cytokines are central to controlling viral infection and developing effective vaccines.
The objective of the 8th Annual Meeting of the International Cytokine & Interferon Society is to promote interactions between scientists performing cutting-edge studies of the molecular mechanisms of cytokine and interferon function, signal transduction, and gene expression in the context of health and disease. Working with the scientific advisory committee composed of leading investigators from academia and industry, an outstanding scientific program is planned.
The Cytokines annual meeting has become the world’s most important annual conference on basic, clinical and translational research on cytokines and their roles in host defense, inflammation, tissue repair and cancer.
