2026 Bethany Reeb-Sutherland Mid-Career Award goes to Jamie Hanson, PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh and a Research Scientist at Pitt’s Learning Research & Development Center. His research examines the neural circuitry children and adolescents use to learn about their environments, how early life stress shapes those circuits, and why the resulting neural changes raise the risk for negative outcomes.
