Joan Oefner has been chosen as Symposium Manager for the 7th International Symposium on Cancer Metastasis & the Lymphovascular System: Biology & Treatment to be held in San Francisco in April or May, 2017. Please visit the Website which we designed in WordPress.
Symposium Chair, Stanley P. L. Leong, MD, FACS and the Organizing Committee will convene the most renowned international faculty and leading experts in the field of oncology and cancer research, fostering genuine translational dialogue among the disciplines responsible for discovering and delivering therapies for cancer. Recent developments in understanding the cancer micro-environment, the molecular mechanisms involved in the progression of cancer cells to metastasis, and immune trafficking and responses to cancer cells will be explored:
- Frontiers in Immunology and Immunotherapy
- Cancer Metastasis through the Lymphovascular System
- Checkpoint Inhibitors and Adoptive Cell Therapies.
- Results of recent clinical trials of emerging therapies
- Sentinel node biopsy concepts and technology
- Radioimaging and molecular targeted therapy
The Congress will bring together basic scientists, oncologists, surgeons, and radiologists from around the world, resulting in a cross-fertilization of ideas that will enhance the translation of basic science into clinical application—and challenge basic scientists with clinical issues. We are confident that this 3-day CME-certified activity in San Francisco will make a significant impact by expanding the understanding and practices of oncologists involved in the management of cancer and bringing the clinical relevance of cancer metastasis to the basic scientists.
